Imaginable Guidelines İstanbul is a city design game cards designed by SANALarc Studio to open up conversations around the issues in your neighborhood. The motivation of cards is to show that everyone is equipped to co-design a beloved, fluid and more livable city with cards.
The card game is a design toolkit with a base of knowledge to explore the limits and opportunities your city offers. It offers methods for everyone to discuss livable cities with each other and suggests sensible solutions to real-life problems that can be implemented together. The sharing platform crowd-sources the knowledge from experts, designers and artist to empowers designers, citizens, and municipal actors to think holistically. Imagine, explore, discuss a shared vocabulary to generate solutions to realize livable public space design.(ŞANAL Architecturre Research and City Design , 2019)
I took part in various worrkshops and events for presenting the project as one of the coordinators of the project and contributed researcher. This gave me chance to experience the publication and play design game with various audience from university students to professionals from different fields.
